We are exploring the possibility of establishing a madrasah in Hackney/Haringey, London specifically to cater for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Our focus would be on providing a supportive and tailored Islamic educational environment for children aged approximately 5 years and over.
The proposed provision aims to offer:
Accessible and adapted curriculum
Maximum 4 children per group for individualised attention.
A fit-for-purpose facility located locally within Hackney or Haringey.
Input and guidance from experienced professionals including:
SENDCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator)
SaLT (Speech and Language Therapist)
Educational Psychologist
OT (Occupational Therapist)
Teaching delivered by qualified Alim/Alimahs and experienced Qualified Teachers.
Support from dedicated Teaching Assistants.
Tailored resources and materials designed to meet diverse learning needs.
